Quick List: Top 5 reasons I am excited for the iPhone 3G
I have had my current iPhone for about 8 months, and have loved every second of it. Has it been perfect? No. Is it by far the best mobile device I have ever handled? Yes. Am I upset that I have to keep paying Apple to be on the cutting edge with their devices? No, I appreciate what Apple is doing and am happy to pay. Some people drink, others golf every weekend, I buy technology products. And lately, Apple technology products.
Without further ado, my Quick List:
- 3G (the faster data speeds will increase my already frequent mobile browsing)
- Native Twitter Client
- Native FriendFeed Client
- Ability to upload photos (and hopefully videos) directly to flickr.
- All of the 3rd party apps that I have not yet imagined.
This might seem overly optimistic, but I think that in time we will look back on the iPhone as a device that changed the direction of computing, and of how we think of and use the web.
